CUPPING MASSAGE

Cupping Massage is a therapeutic technique that involves placing cups on the skin to create a vacuum effect. This method is used to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and alleviate muscle tension.

The cups are applied to the skin, and a vacuum is created either by suction (using a pump or by heat) or through manual methods. This suction pulls the skin and underlying tissues into the cup.

In massage cupping, the cups may be moved along the skin after the vacuum is created. This dynamic movement can help break up adhesions, reduce muscle tightness, and promote lymphatic drainage.

Cups are usually left in place for about 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the treatment goals and client tolerance.

Benefits of Cupping Massage -

Pain Relief - It can help relieve chronic pain conditions, tension headaches, and migraines.
Increased Blood Flow - The suction enhances blood circulation to the treated areas, promoting healing and reducing inflammation.
Muscle Relaxation - The pressure from the cups helps release muscle knots and tightness.
Detoxification - By stimulating lymphatic flow, cupping can assist in detoxifying the body.
Enhanced Well-being - Many people report feelings of relaxation and well-being after a cupping session.

A Cupping Massage involves placing cups on the skin to create suction and therefore decompression of the muscle and surrounding fascia. This helps with pain, inflammation and blood flow.

Cupping Massage can be combined with a Deep Tissue or Relaxation Massage for a total Mind and Body Revive

Cups are glided over the skin to loosen the fascia and connective tissue and this in turn soothes the nervous system and flushes out the lymphatic system. Cupping Therapy is a great way to accelerate the healing and the detoxification of blood.

Cupping massage is an alternative therapy that uses negative pressure and decompression to help relieve pain.

Cupping Massage has an immediate local and physiological effect on the part of the body being worked and it also affects the whole body through stimulation and relaxation of the nerves. It has physiological and psychological benefits and can affect all of the body systems in a positive way.

Overall, cupping massage is a popular alternative therapy that many people find beneficial for both physical and emotional well-being.

Cupping therapy has gained popularity over the years, particularly among athletes and celebrities. Some famous individuals known to have used cupping therapy include -

Michael Phelps - The Olympic swimmer famously displayed cupping marks on his body during the 2016 Rio Olympics, bringing significant attention to the practice.

Gwyneth Paltrow - The actress and wellness advocate has been open about her use of cupping therapy for health benefits.

Jennifer Aniston - The actress has reportedly utilised cupping as a method for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Victoria Beckham - The fashion designer and former pop star has been photographed with cupping marks and has spoken about her interest in holistic therapies.

These individuals have contributed to the increasing visibility and acceptance of cupping therapy in mainstream wellness culture.

I’ve never had a treatment which made me simultaneously relax, laugh and cry, but Stephanie ended up life coaching me while she worked on my massage. It felt wonderful and she was so kind and helpful to talk to. She helped me get perspective on some issues in my life and I left feeling physically and emotionally better. Slept so well afterwards and now feel really calm which is exactly what I was hoping for. Wonderful.

What an experience! I've been lucky enough to have many massages in my life. But none like the massages I experience with Steph. Frequent user is an understatement... Ideal for personalising the massage that you need! To really tackle problem areas or simply relax and rewind and everything in between. Lovely, thank you for your services and humanising your services. Simply fabulous and excellent value for money.

The treatment was relaxing and pain relieving with optimal pressure. Steph used a variety of manual therapy techniques which helped to reduce muscle spasm and tension throughout my body. Steph has a calming aura and the treatment is within in a relaxing atmosphere to make you feel at ease and unwind from the stresses of daily life. After the treatment I had increased neck and shoulder range of movement and I can now look over my right shoulder which I had not been able to do for 2-3 years due to soft tissue restriction. I felt a huge release post treatment and my body felt fully relaxed and also increased ability to sleep since my treatment. I would highly recommend Steph for musculoskeletal body work for reducing pain, stiffness and enhancing relaxation for the mind, body and soul.

I took my young daughter to see Stephanie for a Lymphatic Drainage Massage as she has been struggling with her health and Stephanie was amazing! She really made my daughter feel comfortable and at ease and was very informative during each step of the process. I would highly recommend Stephanie and we will certainly be booking with her again in the future.

I would highly recommend Steph. She treated my back with various different manual therapy techniques which reduced the muscle spasm and sciatic pain I had from a fall allowing me to be able to move pain free and ride my horse afterwards. A relaxing environment to also be treated in. Thank you Steph!
